Norman Horwitz, Project Manager
Loyal & steadfast. The one to turn to.

Norm was born and raised in New Haven, CT. From an early age, he spent summers helping out at the family business, Horwitz Department Stores, which was established by his grandfather in 1912. In 1975, he began full-time work there in the accounting department. The business grew to having locations in West Haven, Branford, and Madison, CT, and eventually employed over 100 people. Norm spent the next 20 years at the family business in various positions until he ultimately rose to become President of the company.

Following his tenure at Horwitz Department Stores, Norm began work for Mr. Robert Errato, the owner of many businesses, including the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. Norm worked closely with Mr. Errato in various capacities and across multiple business ventures, including accounting, operations, human resources, and property management. Norm remained with Mr. Errato for 11 years until he retired in 2007.

In 2007, Norm became employed with Olé Wines LLC, a wine importer based in New Rochelle, NY, and where he first met Ben Carson-Brown. Originally hired as Accounting Manager, he became involved in many different aspects of the business, including accounting, human resources, and operations. During his 15-year tenure there, Norm gained a reputation for successfully handling any crisis that arose, earning him the unofficial title of “The Fireman.”

In 2024, Norm began his association with Cultivamos. He first started work in accounting and then broadened his scope to become Project Manager.
